With his brother Ramone, hoarded at birth and living in squalor. Once rescued, a very relaxed, chill little guy. Still, there was always a sadness just beneath the surface, which seemed more and more on the verge of disappearing each day. After 18 months, Marley was accidentally let out of a boarding facility where he was spending the night and was run over and crushed by a car. Would have loved to have seen what this super sweet boy would have become.Full Name: Marley David Bassman

Marley, and his brother Ramone, were born on November 3, 2007, into a hoarding situation. Rick rescued them eight weeks later, and they immediately became an exceptionally well-loved part of the family. A year and a half later, while relocating residences, Rick boarded Ramone & Marley with an overnight operation in Wildomar, CA, which specialized in large breeds. Ramone and Marley were accidentally let out of the property. The following day, Rick identified Marley’s body; he had been run over and crushed by a car. Not a day goes by where this beautiful, sweet boy is not missed.
