In the rescue world, we are faced with sadness every day. Stories of neglect, abuse and euthanasia are not uncommon. Although heartbreaking, these stories are also the driving factor behind what we do every day at The Bully Dog Rescue Coalition. It makes our work more meaningful and serves as an important reminder of what we are striving to achieve.
Hope Connects Us
One of our favorite parts of our day is reading, hearing and seeing stories of progress from around the world. When a pit bull is safely delivered to their forever home where they will be loved and appreciated for the rest of their life, our hearts truly melt.
We firmly believe that the attitude towards bully breeds is softening and more people are willing to open their homes and their hearts to these loving companions.
Here are a few rescue stories that keep us motivated.
Pinky/Yogi- a hurricane Katrina survivor that searched and found his forever home after 10 years.
